Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
AdVoid has no developer-operated backend, account database, analytics, telemetry, or advertising SDK. The developer does not collect, receive, retain, sell, or share user data through AdVoid. The Android app displays YouTube in a local WebView and applies its playback and filtering features on your device. AdVoid does not sell anything in-app: there are no purchases, subscriptions, or payment details involved.
Who operates AdVoid
AdVoid is developed and maintained by Eldar Najaf.
Information AdVoid handles
AdVoid itself does not ask you for a name, email address, phone number, payment information, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone access, or camera access. The app requests Android internet access, the network-state check that tells it whether the current connection is metered, plus a media-playback foreground service and notification permission so a video's audio can keep playing while the app is in the background. The ongoing playback notification, which shows the title and playback controls, is the only notification AdVoid shows, and you can deny the notification permission without losing background audio.
If you sign in to YouTube, Google and YouTube may process your account information, viewing activity, searches, identifiers, cookies, and other data under their own policies. AdVoid does not receive a separate copy of that account data.
On-device storage
AdVoid app preferences stay on your device. The Android WebView may also store cookies, site data, cache, and browsing state locally so YouTube can work and keep you signed in. You can erase this local information through Android Settings by clearing AdVoid's storage or uninstalling the app.
Network services
AdVoid connects directly to YouTube and Google for video pages, media, search results, live chat, account sign-in, and related content. Those services process data under the Google Privacy Policy and the applicable YouTube terms. Links you open may be governed by the destination site's privacy policy.
Sharing and selling
The developer does not collect, receive, retain, sell, or share user data through AdVoid. Data sent directly from your device to YouTube, Google, or a link you choose to open is handled by that service as described above, not received by an AdVoid-operated service.
Children
AdVoid is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. YouTube's own age requirements and supervised experiences continue to apply.
Security and changes
AdVoid starts its built-in web experience at YouTube over HTTPS and opens this privacy-policy link over HTTPS. Links selected inside web content may be handled by their destination. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. This policy may be updated when the app's behavior or legal requirements change; the effective date above will be revised.
